Business Overview &Position Objective :

Japan FP&A function is primarily responsible for providing analytical and anticipatory insights to support and drive strategic decision making, optimal resource allocation and performance for our businesses. Key responsibilities include:

  • Partnerwith business to translate strategies into Plans and Budgets

  • Analyzeperformance against Plans, key movements and trends, identify and recommendoperational and process improvements

  • Supportdecision making through analytical and anticipatory insights and interpretationof financial/non financial data

  • Delivervalue-added support to business partners, building constructive and effectivepartnership

PositionResponsibilities:

This role will specifically drive the above responsibilities from an Expense Analytics point of view, including:

  • Forwardlooking content, performance management and decision support activities acrossthe franchise including Operations & Technology and Global Functions

  • Developunderstanding and communications around Activity Based Costing and its driversand how this can drive down our cost base for the franchise

  • Workwith business and/or with business coverage FP&As/Mumbai Center of Excellence tosupport and drive the execution of productivity initiatives and strategicprojects

  • Analyzeexpenses across the franchise, including competitive/peer benchmarking tosupport organizational streamlining and efficiency improvements

Qualifications

Qualification Required Experiences Knowledge Skills Licensed

  • Excellentworking knowledge of the ICG businesses and/or Operations & Technologyfunctions desirable but not essential

  • Priorexperience of working within Financial Planning and Analysis or similar functions

  • Demonstratedstrength in analytical capabilities with keen-eyes for details

  • Excellentinterpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills

  • Abilityto prioritize and manage competing demands while collaborating with multiplestakeholders

  • Abilityto drive changes, challenge the status quo with a desire to make a positiveimpact to the organization

  • Bachelor’sdegree in Accounting/Finance, Business Administration, Mathematics, Economicsor related field study
