As a Technical Account Manager, you are responsible for providing technical solutions and managing relationships with Google's largest and most strategic online publishers. As a liaison between clients and our technical staff, you flawlessly lead deployments, implementations and integrations of a variety of our product lines (such as Search, Mobile, Video and Commerce). From monitoring product performance to debugging and troubleshooting product code, you are the resident expert that addresses partner needs. You are a technical expert with an entrepreneurial drive and passion for client management.

We’re looking for technical solutions consultants to make that a reality, and bring partners in Home Automation and Internet of Things (IoT) experiences to the ecosystem. We’re opening up the home to a new realm of possibilities, and transforming the way people connect with devices in their home.

The Partner Solutions team empowers the ecosystem across Sales, Product and Partners to make Offers, Shopping, Wallet, Digital Content, Knowledge, Geo/Local, Social and Ads products work. We provide end-to-end technical and operations support for partners for most of Google properties. This includes influencing product strategy, developing product tools, helping to onboard new partners, providing technical implementation services to some of the most strategic partners and ongoing partner management.

  • Liaise between clients and teams; lead deployments, implementations.
  • Understand Home Automation partner use-cases and assist on implementation.
  • Build partner experiences that would realize these requirements, and build the necessary pieces.
  • Build samples and documentation to support partners integrations with Google Assistant.
  • Monitor product performance to debug and troubleshoot product code.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Experience with Java, JavaScript and/or C/C++.
  • Experience with HTML5.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Ability to speak and write in English and Japanese fluently and idiomatically.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with Internet of Things (IoT) technologies.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and SDKs.
