Description: We are looking for a thought leader to join the Digital Transformation & Innovation within salesforce.com to drive awareness and promotion of cloud solutions within the Retail B2C & Consumer Packaged Goods industries or Manufacture / High Tech Industries. The individual will act as Salesforce’s ambassador and evangelist in the industry, driving awareness, demand, excitement about Salesforce and the potential for transformation and new success through our solutions. The individual will do this in collaboration with other teams such as Sales, Solutions Engineering, Alliances, Partners and leverage global / local thought leadership, use cases, demos and driving the digital transformation agenda with senior executives and / or key decision makers in the industry. We also expect this person to work closely with Salesforce Japan and global industry and sales leadership to drive key accounts activities, deal progressions, pipe gen, partner engagement and creation of a holistic ecosystem of capabilities and companies to drive customer success.

Leading without authority, influencing, collaboration and drive to win are key characteristics and traits of a successful candidate in addition to being able to speak the language of the customer.

You are a leader with industry domain expertise that has broad senior management relationships. You have a proven track record developing new industry go-to-market strategies, able to create sales assets, engage in direct senior management deal support, able to speak to analysts, partners and represent SFDC as the industry segment executive leader. Responsibilities: • Improve awareness of cloud advantage in the specified industry

• Develop and execute a vertical go-to-market plan including sales, sales enablement, marketing, alliances, and internal and external communities • Develop and deliver industry-specific sales enablement tools and programs including presentations and videos • Provide direct deal support, industry expertise and strategy in industry-specific sales opportunities • Define and create industry-specific collateral and thought leadership pieces including white papers, data sheet
