Location: Tokyo, JapanRole & Department Description: Employee Success is made up of HR Business Partners, Operations ( Shared Service & Diversity & Inclusion) and professionals, who come together to continue to build out Salesforce through robust business and people initiatives. Though this position does not have a solid reporting line relationship with Recruiting, Compensation & Benefit, Talent & Development as well as Employee Communication, he/she is a trusted business partner to our CEO & Chairman and his leadership team for People Agenda. This position and his/her team will work closely with those functional teams in HR (Recruiting, Compensation & Benefit, Talent & Development as well as Employee Communication) to deliver HR solutions and initiatives to grow Japan business in collaboration.

Create and nurture effective working relationships that influence and challenge leaders/management on personal style as well as the development and delivery of people agendas supporting achievement of their business objectives.
Provide transformational advice to grow the team and meet functional and company objectives. Key deliverables to internal clients include: research, design and proposals for people strategy and business initiatives.
Partner closely with Talent Development team to enable our leaders and employees to perform and grow into the next level. Ensure that the leadership development including succession plan is in place and effective.
Instill a culture of performance that enables and empowers functional leaders to effectively manage the behavior, performance and overall career development of their team members.
Note: Recruiting and Employee Communication is not in the scope of this position.Basic Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Fluent Japanese & English levels
Relevant management qualification/training
10+ years experience in HR operations and strategic projects
HRBP experience including successfully developing, leading and implementing strategy, policy or operational plans (including change management and restructuring) across multiple functions and various stakeholders within a fast-paced working environment at a medium or large multi-national organization
Track record of managing a fast pace work environment and building its own team
A professional knowledge of current employment legislation and best practices across all HR functions
Capable of analyzing financial data and business cases to inform strategic and/or tactical business initiatives
Excellent interpersonal, communications and people leadership skills
Proactive solutions-based problem solving and decision making coupled with an ability to champion and promote new ideas that contribute to and meet business needs
Unwavering high levels of integrity and confidentiality
