Eastman Customer Service Representative 1 in Tokyo, Japan

Primary responsibilities

  • Ensure order fulfillment, complaint management, enabling process and moderately complex customer service are effectively managed according to business need and strategy through prioritization, negotiation and follow-through. Utilize multiple complex computer systems/programs to manage inquiries/quote/orders, manage sales records/customer information. Process complaints, communicate and provide sales support.

  • Effectively build relationships by providing appropriate and timely responsiveness. Develop an internal network to be utilized to support internal partner and customer needs.

  • Partner with sales to provide required level of sales support. Effectively manager customer and sales inquiries through closure. When necessary, attend customer visit with sales.

  • With direction; collaborate, coordinate and implement solutions in support of customers and cross function

  • Communicate effectively and consistently within natural work unit to support back-up requirement and ensure gleaned knowledge is shared appropriately

  • Anxious to develop and share functional expertise and organizational knowledge. Accepts responsibility for continued development of self and associates

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

  • Experience in the field of Customer Service and/or business and/or Supply Chain experience preferred but not a must

  • Customer focused, pro-active

  • Strong team player

  • Able to communicate and write in English

  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and Word are required.

  • Able to work well under pressure, with time demands and have ability to multi-task in a dynamic business environment.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others.

  • Ability to adjust with ease to new conditions and personnel and to exhibit the competence and maturity to encourage confidence from Customers, Businesses and other functions

  • SAP/Salesforce.com knowledge will be an added advantage

  • Will consider fresh graduate if the individual is willing to learn, have a positive attitude and able to work well with others and able to communicate and write in English
