AT&T Account Manager - Specialist in Tokyo, Japan
The candidate will be responsible for building strong relationships with target global accounts in Japan to drive additional revenue through identification, development, sales execution and management of business opportunities around the world.
The candidate will be responsible for selling the entire AT&T product portfolio, including VPN, IoT, Security, and UC services, as well as developing and executing integrated solutions with our internal and external partners.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Create strategic sales plans and lead global account teams to maximize revenue and growth.
Perform both acquisition and retention sales activities.
Develop relationships with client CIO, CxO, and Line of Business Owners and establish executive alignment between customer decision makers and AT&T senior leadership.
Build and manage sales funnel in line with company goals, and accurately forecast and close sales against assigned quotas.
Create integrated solutions proposals together with the pre-sales and support functions to address customer’s business problems
Key Competencies and Skills:
Proficiency in written and spoken English & Japanese.
Strong interpersonal communication skills.
Strong customer oriented presentation and negotiation skills
Experience in consultative B2B sales, global account management, and executive positioning.
Experience in working for and/or with a large international organization and leading virtual teams.
Sound business acumen and aptitude to understand key business drivers and financial knowledge to develop return on investment models.
Highly motivated self-starter who can work independently.
Willingness to learn and progress (Interest for personal development both in IoT and Corporate IT is plus).
Strong team player that can work with diverse mix of colleagues and customers.
Be flexible with regard to work assignments.
Ability to travel locally and internationally occasionally.
Education and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required.
5 years of working experience in Japan.
3 years of telecommunication sales experience.
