This role reports to the Sr. Manager, GSIA North East Asia (NEA) cluster as part of the APAC insights and analytics team. This role supports the Sr. Manager in the management and delivery of insights and analytics projects for NEA Cluster with a primary focus on Korea.
This position will support the Sr. Manager with data-driven decisions in the consumer, shopper and professional domains using insights and analytics tools. Primary accountabilities would include helping to manage project timelines, data collection/quality controls, with internal and external teams. The analyst will also help run the business performance analysis through data analysis, establishing a strong understanding of shoppers and channels data.
Major Responsibilities Include
Project management for implementation of analytics projects across NEA. This includes being point of the contact within the local team to enable smooth communication and clarification of all data directly-responsible individuals to ensure right data is used in all analytics modeling projects.
Support the day-to-day analytics activity for NEA (planning and executing work). This position will be required to partner with the regional analytics on key initiatives in Media Spend Optimization (through Market Mix Models and Business Drivers Analysis), Price and Promotion Analytics by providing data and insights inputs and ensuring engagement with key stakeholders in the market.
Help the NEA organization to set KPIs through the use of quantitative analytics. Help optimization and track the performance of the business and initiatives by providing descriptive, diagnostic and predictive insights beyond the data
Continuous support and education of NEA organization in J&J data and analytics tools like Business Panorama and other business dashboards.
Enable market performance tracking in partnership with the country and regional teams; deploying standardized, automated consistent and globally aligned management reports, dashboards, key performance indicators, and data for self-serve.
Support Sr Manager on any ad-hoc projects that require coordination and alignment of marketing analytics practice.
Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management or Finance preferred.
Minimum 3 years of experience with a commercial or strategy background is preferred.
Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills with ability to learn quickly and leverage is required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
Knowledge in multivariate statistical analysis including regression, regression tree, logistic regression, cluster analysis, behavioral market structure etc. is preferred.
Knowledge of data structure, information systems/tools, and related software and data management, enterprise content management, and record-keeping policies and practices are required.
